The Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV) is hiring a contract legislative analyst. This person will work with our Public Policy team and be relied upon to provide objective bill analysis during the 2022 Washington State legislative session. This position is remote and can be done from anywhere in the U.S. The hourly pay is $55-$75 depending on experience.
Anticipated number of analysis requests per week between Jan. 10-March 10 will be 2-5. The start of session will have the heaviest workload as bills drop daily. The requests for analysis will decrease as session continues. Analysis may still be requested on bill amendments toward the end of session. The contract goes through April 2022 in case a thorough summary of tracked legislation can’t be finished in March.
