FAQ

What is Refuse To Abuse®?

Refuse To Abuse ® is a 27-year partnership between the Seattle Mariners and the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV). With spokespeople that included Kyle Seager, Justus Sheffield, and Scott Servais, Refuse To Abuse® has reached millions of Mariners fans over the past 27 years with messages that promote healthy, respectful relationships.

Will there be a 5K this year?

No. We’ve decided to bring our 5K era to a close, and debut a new event this summer! Over 9,000 of you have been an important part of Refuse To Abuse® for over a decade. You ran, walked, wheeled, fundraised, and volunteered to accomplish big things: Reaching hundreds of thousands of people about prevention, raising over $1M for prevention, and creating a special space for survivors and supporters. You have our deep gratitude.

Where can I buy tickets?

Buy your tickets on the Mariners theme games website by Friday, June 14, 5:00 PM. Space is limited, buy your tickets now!
