We can’t let another day go by without stating affirmatively that we support the protests. White supremacy exists. Police brutality persists. Black lives do matter. We are paying attention, we are mobilizing. We see the connections between police violence and violence in relationships.
We’re committed to building communities where everyone can live and love without fear. This means focusing on anti-racism, advocating for funding sustainable community solutions, and shifting from punitive systems to caring ones.
Just like ending domestic and sexual violence, everyone has a role to play in changing and dismantling systems of oppression and harm.
