Next weekend marks the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March, the largest coordinated protest in U.S. history.
WSCADV joins this movement because working to end domestic and sexual violence requires organizing and demanding safety and justice for women. Women’s safety and freedom is inseparable from the safety and freedom of those most targeted and most marginalized.
On January 20-21, 2018, we will come together again in solidarity to act for gender justice, racial justice, Indigenous sovereignty, human rights, civil rights, disability rights, LGBTQ rights, workers’ rights, immigrant rights, reproductive rights, and social and environmental justice. In Seattle, Native women will lead the march to honor Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and demand action to end violence against Indigenous women, girls, Two Spirit and LGBTQQIA people.
