The top three individual fundraisers and the captain of the largest group will receive prize packages that include the opportunity to throw the first pitch at a Mariners game, signed items from Mariners players, a luxury Suite Night at a Mariners game, and a two-night Pacific Beach cottage stay!
The deadline for donations to count towards the contest is 12:00pm on Sunday, June 16, 2024, online or at the WSCADV booth on the 300 level of T-Mobile Park. Winners will be announced on our social media channels by 6:00pm on June 16.

What is Refuse To Abuse®?
Refuse To Abuse® is a 28-year partnership between the Seattle Mariners and the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV). With spokespeople that included Kyle Seager, Justus Sheffield, and Scott Servais, Refuse To Abuse® has reached millions of Mariners fans over the past 28 years with messages that promote healthy, respectful relationships.
Will there be a 5K this year?
No. We’ve decided to bring our 5K era to a close, and debut a new event this summer! Over 9,000 of you have been an important part of Refuse To Abuse® for over a decade. You ran, walked, wheeled, fundraised, and volunteered to accomplish big things: Reaching hundreds of thousands of people about prevention, raising over $1M for prevention, and creating a special space for survivors and supporters. You have our deep gratitude.
