Domestic violence is all too common among young pregnant and parenting women, but support can be hard to come by. That’s why WSCADV is bringing together Home Visiting programs (support services for expectant parents and young families) and Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault programs in Yakima, Adams, and Grant counties to share their expertise and learn from one another. The programs will offer a range of strategies to families including the Domestic Violence Housing First approach of flexible financial assistance and mobile advocacy for housing stability, safety, and well-being.
