Team Up Washington Train-the-Trainers

Are you a high school coach or know someone who is?  Are you disturbed by reports of violence and abuse in our communities? Dating violence and sexual assault are 100% preventable. 

The conversations you will start through your implementation of Athletes As Leaders and Coaching Boys Into Men will empower student athletes to lead the way and shift culture both on and off the field, in their schools and their communities. Through your leadership by example and applying the lessons in these evidence based curricula, you will empower young athletes to become leaders in their schools and communities to end violence and to address some of the root causes that allow violence to persist in our communities.

Participants can receive clock hours and copies of the curricula. The last day to request language interpretation is October 19, 2022. We are not able to guarantee interpreters for any registrants that come in after that date. We’ll be meeting at the Mercer Island Community & Event Center. Parking is free and dinner will be provided! Please specify if you have dietary restrictions when you register. Participants will be required to wear face masks during the training.

As part of our COVID-19 precautions, all attendees and staff at WSCADV events are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  Per CDC guidelines, you are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after your second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after the single-dose J&J/Janssen vaccine.
