Please join us for a conversation with our guest speaker, Sherrie Tinoco, who will be discussing Financial Management as it applies to our field. Financial Management is the strategic planning and organizing of an entity’s finances. It involves monitoring, controlling, protecting, compliance, and reporting of a company’s financial resources.
This session will provide an overview of activities such as separation of duties, cost allocation, timesheets, financial reports, budgeting, amendments, internal controls and more. Participants will have access to pre-created tools to help demystify the non-profit finance model and get a solid handle on the 1,000-piece puzzle that makes up the budget of most of our agencies.
