DV Hopeline and Shared 24/7 DV/SA Helplines – Informational Meeting

July 18 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

Are you maintaining a mandated 24-hour helpline with limited resources? Are your advocates working all day and going home with the 24-hour line? Would you like a way to make your advocates’ jobs easier and still maintain high quality services? Let a centralized or shared helpline help you!

Please join Aja Osita, Executive Director of New Beginnings (King County), Shaida Bibby, DV Hopeline Program Director, and Heidi Roy, Skagit Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Survivor Services, for an informational session on how your programs can access the DV Hopeline (currently DV-focused) or explore options such as shared helplines (DV/SA) on a regional basis.

(WSCADV is hosting to share new developments in the field, but does not endorse any particular service).

If you are wondering if there is a way to support your organization’s advocates, share resources, and provide around the clock services to your community without having to fully staff a 24-hour helpline, there is! Please join us and find out more!

This is also a place to start thinking creatively about regional partnerships, and considerations such as your program’s call volumes, peak times, and help line requirements (training, support, data collection, reporting).

Interpretation is available upon request. Deadline to request interpretation is Wednesday, July 3rd after which interpretation is not guaranteed.
