Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Gathering
- This event has passed.
WSCADV is hosting a Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Gathering on Thursday, September 17, 10:00 AM, after our conference and right before the annual meeting.
Please join Norine Hill of Mother Nation as she facilitates a conversation with Arlene Zahne and Bridgette Davis, Mentees of Mother Nation. Arlene and Bridgette will share their stories of how they used cultural resilience and tools to survive and manage historical and inter-generational trauma.
To attend, register for the WSCADV conference, then go to the schedule to sign up here. There is no cost for WSCADV Member Programs to register for the conference.
This gathering is intended for people who identify as Black, Indigenous (Native American, Alaskan Native, Pacific Islander), and people of color (Latinx, Asian, Middle Eastern, mixed race, etc.). Learn more about this from national leader and survivor Loretta Ross. If you are not sure or have questions, you’re welcome to contact us.
