Are you an advocate or a manager who has been working in the DV field for 2+ years? Advocacy 102 is for advocates and managers that have been in DV work for two or more years. In this training we will cover screening and intake, best practices, de-escalation in shelter settings, reviewing and reconsidering shelter and program rules, maximizing community resources, support groups, services and supports for children of DV program participants, mentoring and WAC requirements applicable to shelter and non-residential programs.
Join WSCADV as we discuss the next level of Advocacy work. These trainings will be especially beneficial for senior advocates wanting to learn more about deepening your skills and expertise!
