#YoTambién: Sexual Harassment at Work for Immigrants – Regional Advocacy Meeting for Legal Advocates

March 15, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • This event has passed.

What do economic justice, immigrant justice, and violence have to do with one another?
We know that survivors who are immigrants and people of color are particularly vulnerable to economic instability, poverty, and a lack of viable legal remedies.
Join us for a conversation where we’ll explore:

  • what economic supports for immigrant survivors look like,
  • how to engage communities in promoting the safety and dignity of immigrant survivors at home and at work, and
  • how advocates can play a vital role in advocating for immigrant survivors.

In the era of #MeToo, we’ll also spend time discussing the realities of sexual harassment at work for immigrants and low-wage workers. Together, we’ll identify key areas of intervention, support, and advocacy for immigrant survivors of sexual harassment and violence in the workplace and in their communities.
