February 22 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join us for MoneyTalks! A webinar series to promote economic justice. MoneyTalks will take on topics that will help you understand how economics affect survivors of domestic violence and provide a place to convene with other advocates to exchange good ideas. If you’ve got something to say about money and domestic violence, this is the place for you.
Our next MoneyTalk happens on February 22 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. This quarter we will be talking taxes! Yay! What? Not that excited about taxes? Come find out why you should be. We will be talking about ways that you can help survivors tap into extra cash or simply make sure that they aren’t racking up fines. We will also talk about what to know about taxes for survivors working in the gig economy (grocery delivery and other app-based services), as well as any tax-related news impacted by the pandemic. You might even find out some helpful info for yourselves.
Don’t miss it! Be a part of a knowledgeable and resourceful community. Be a MoneyTalker—sign up for a webinar!
