The DV Counts Census is a national, one-day count of services provided by domestic violence programs. 86% of Washington State domestic violence programs participated in the 2012 Census.
On just one day in Washington State:
- Domestic violence programs served 1,825 survivors.
- 377 requests for services went unmet because programs did not have enough resources.
- 90% of unmet needs were for housing.
